Spring Drink Recipes To Enjoy Poolside

It�s finally Spring! Here in Texas, it�s been warm for a while (most of the time, anyway)� and it will soon be time to relax and get in the pool! Wouldn�t the days be even more relaxing with a drink in hand? Today we�re giving you some yummy spring drink recipes we found around the web.

strawberry-basil-margarita

STRAWBERRY BASIL MARGARITAS

We sure do love our margaritas around here! This recipe isn�t for your typical margarita though� we�re kicking it up a notch by adding strawberries and fresh herbs. This is a great recipe to mix up the night or the morning before a big afternoon party.

Ingredients:
1 can (12 ounces) frozen limeade concentrate
10 strawberries
8 basil leaves
2 to 2 � cups tequila

Directions:
Empty the limeade concentrate into a pitcher.
Add 2 � cans of water and 11/2 cans of tequila
Hull the strawberries, slice lengthwise, and add to the pitcher
Crumple the basil a little in our hands and add it to the pitcher.
Place the pitcher, covered, in the fridge
Serve after chilling for at least 4 hours
elderflower-tequila-sipper

ELDERFLOWER TEQUILA SIPPER

Forgot to make the cocktails for a big party? Not to worry! This recipe is super quick for the days that you�re running a little behind.

Ingredients:
2 ounces silver tequila
1 � ounces elderflower liqueur
4 dasges grapefruit bitters
Ice
1 slice of grapefruit

Directions:
Combine tequila, elderflower liquer and bitters in an ice-filled cocktail shaker.
Stir until chilled and strain into a coupe
Garnish with grapefruit

GREEN LEMONADE (NON-ALCOHOLIC)

If you�ve got kids who love to have yummy drinks with the adults or if you don�t drink alcohol, this is a great drink recipe for you! It�s more than just a glass of lemonade�

Ingredients:
4 ounces of lemonade
2 ounces of limeade or lime cordial
4 kiwi slices, peeled
� ounce simple syrup
Kiwi or lime slice (for garnish)

Directions:
Muddle the kiwi and simple syrup in a mixing glass
Add ice, lemonade and limeade
Shake well
Strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice
Garnish with a kiwi or lime wedge

THE DON JOHNSON

Ingredients:
1 � ounces of Ultimat Vodka
� ounce of Pama pomegranate liqueur
� ounce Solerno blood orange liqueur
� ounce white cranberry juice
Blood orange (wedged for garnish)

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice
Shake vigorously and drain into a glass
Garnish with a blood orange wedge

WHITE SANGRIA

If you�re having a party, this is your go-to recipe. This yummy white sangria recipe yields 32 servings!

Ingredients:
� cup peach schnapps
� cup cognac
� cup white sugar
4 oranges, sliced into rounds
2 green apples, cut into cubes
2 mangos, peeled and sliced
4 (750 milliliter) bottles dry white wine, chilled
1 liter ginger ale, chilled

Directions:
Combine peach schnapps, cognac, sugar, sliced oranges and sliced mangos in a pitcher
Chill for at least 1 hour
Add white wine and ginger ale to the mixture right before serving

SKINNY CHERRY LIME COCKTAIL

Are you watching your calorie intake but don�t want to waste a cheat day just so you can have a cocktail? This is the perfect recipe for you.

Ingredients:

1 part Skinnygirl White Cherry Vodka
3 parts sparkling water
2 squirts of fresh limejuice
Splash of cherry juice

Directions:
Pour vodka, cherry juice and sparkling water over ice and stir
Squirt with lime
Garnish with a lime wheel
